Stonefort Stonefort--Marcus A. White-Brooks, 28, cherished son and father, left his earthly body behind when he passed away at 3:49 AM on Saturday, May 19, 2012. A Celebration of Marcus’ Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Blue Funeral Home in Marion. A time of gathering for family and friends will precede the Celebration from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Those who knew Marcus and would like to share a story of him are encouraged to attend. Marcus was born on Tuesday, January 17, 1984 in Milwaukee, WI. A son to Pamela White & Bryan Brooks, he was a proud father of two children, born from a loving relationship. Marcus worked as a cook in an area restaurant who loved playing practical jokes on his many family members and close friends. He had a love for the game of basketball. Most importantly he loved his family very much. He is survived by his loving parents, Pamela & Bryan Brooks; adoring children, Madison White & Payton White; common-law-wife, Breanne Sine; maternal grandparents, Dorothy White & Raymond Echols; paternal grandparents, Nick & Josie Brooks; paternal great-grandmother, Edith McDaniel; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his many dear friends.
