Mae Louise Frick-LaBotte Marion- Mae Louise Frick-LaBotte, 79, of Marion went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ at 3:59 AM, Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 10, 2010 at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion, with Reverend Scott Kallem and Reverend Larry Shacklee officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Memorial donations may be made to the Carmi Children’s Home; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. There will be a meal at the Third Baptist Church of Marion after the graveside services on Friday. Louise was born on December 23, 1930 in Marion, IL to Arnold & Cordelia (Caplinger) Frick. She is survived by her sons, James “Jamie” & Teresa LaBotte of Creal Springs and Terry LaBotte of Marion; grandchildren, Lori Ridgway, Kristie & Randy Anson, Brandi & Dugie Fox and Lisa & Erik Johnson; great-grandchildren, Tristen Reid, Briana Anson, Taylor Anson, Nicholas Anson, Zachary Anson, Wyatt Fox, Walker Fox and Landon Johnson; sisters, Patsy & Arvil Melliges and Marcella Randolph; brothers, Bill & Sally Frick and John & Melba Frick; nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Paulette LaBotte. She was a faithful Christian and longtime member of the Third Baptist Church in Marion, where she taught Sunday School. Louise was a homemaker and formerly employed at Sangarro Electric. She enjoyed gardening, visiting with her many friends and loved her grandchildren & great-grandchildren very much.
