Madeline Cloud Hewlett

March 25, 1934 — July 14, 2015

Marion-Madeline Cloud Hewlett, 81, passed away at 11:59am on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at her daughter Karen’s home, surrounded by her family. Madeline was born in Marion on March 25, 1934 to Harold and Mae (Franklin) Farner. She married William Cloud on July 19, 1952. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2001. Madeline was a member of First Baptist Church for almost 60 years. She retired from GTE after 25 years of service. Madeline was loved by all who knew her. She led a very active social life. Special thanks to her best friend, Judy Lowe. Madeline will be greatly missed by all and never forgotten. Survivors include: Children: Debbie Fleming and husband Chris Rick Cloud and wife Maria Jan Korzenaskie and husband Ken Karen Jones and husband Greg Grandchildren: Michael Cloud and wife Niki Travis Fleming Ryan Korzenaskie Great grandchildren: Lucas Cloud Dawson Cloud Ryker Cloud Brother-Charles Terry Farner She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother and one sister. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Dickerson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30am until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N.
