Lydia West

Marion-Lydia West, 84, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her home. Lydia was born on October 18, 1931 in Puerto Rico to Ernesto Felipe and Rosalina (Rodriquez) Silen.  She married Gerald West and he preceded her in death in 1995. Lydia enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with family and friends.  She will be missed by all. Survivors include: Children: Don and Cynthia West of Marion George West of Chicago Debbie and Dennis Morgan of Marion Gerald and Audrey West Jr. of Marion Grandchildren-Georgie, Emily, Ryan, Jackson, Lydia, Justin, Steven, Robbie, Ashley, Daniel, Eric, David, Vernon and Andrea Several great grandchildren Three brothers Five sisters She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; seven brothers, two sisters, sons, Robert and David and great grandson, Skylar. There will be a family and friends gathering at her daughter, Debbie’s home, 904 East Thompson in Marion on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 1pm for a celebration of a life well lived.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
