MARION-Lula Fiveash, 96, of Marion passed away at 3:20 PM, Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Fountains Nursing Home in Marion. Private funeral services will be held. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Fiveash was born on February 3, 1908 in Williamson County, Illinois to Jasper R. and Belle (Harper) Turner. She married Frank Fiveash on September 24, 1927 in Franklin County, Illinois, he preceded her in death in April of 1981. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Dean and Harold Violett, John and Linda Gulledge, Marlene and George Stavrolasky, Jim and Norma Turner, Lynn Turner, Lois Hickok, and Bob Goley; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; infant daughter; sisters, Nola Goley and Flora Gulledge; and brother, Guy Turner. Mrs. Fiveash worked as an aide at Manteno State Hospital and Tinley Park Hospital, and she was a homemaker. She was of Baptist faith.
