Louise Schaubert

Marion Marion—Louise Schaubert, 89 of Crab Orchard, passed away at 12:30 AM on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center with family by her side. Funeral services for Louise will be held at Noon on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Keith Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will precede the funeral service on Saturday starting at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Mrs. Schaubert was born in Crab Orchard on July 18, 1923 to Norman & Blanch (Shaw) Lewis. She married Curtis Pola Schaubert, Sr. who preceded her in death in January 1987. Louise is survived by her children, Charles & Margie Schaubert of Herrin and Paula Upshaw & fiancé Terry Moore of Marion; grandchildren, Tedra Rentfro, Curtis Drake, Lance Schaubert and Nick Schaubert; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Baylie, Karma and Kamrunn. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and sister, Mildred Beasley. Louise had retired from Maytag and was of the Baptist Faith.
