MARION-Loudean Jackson, 81, of Marion passed away at 11:20 P.M. Thursday, November 22, 2007 at her home in Marion, surrounded by family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 26, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Bruce Fox officiating, and Charlie Smith giving the Eulogy. Visitation will be from Noon until 2:00 PM, Monday, November 26, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson was born October 1, 1926 in Marion, Illinois to Arch Augusta and Emma Burton (Gallagher) Malone. Mrs. Jackson married Carl Russell Jackson on April 4, 1944, he passed away on March 28, 1982.
Survivors include her children Carl and Diane Jackson of Marion; Eddie Parker of Carterville; Wilma Shadowens of Marion; Lois Fox of Marion;Linda and Charlie Smith of Johnston City; and Brenda and Mike Roy of Marion. Mrs. Jackson also had several grandchildren as well as several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Survivors also include her brother Hubert and Mary Malone of Johnston City; and sister Lavada and Junior Osborne of Carrier Mills, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Parents, three brothers, four sisters, son-in-law James Fox and son-in-law Eugene Shadowens.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of The Full Gospel Tabernacle. She was a homemaker that enjoyed going to church, gardening, doing yard work, and was always willing to help her friends.
