Lorene Dunaway

Marion-Lorene Dunaway, 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Shawnee Christian Care Center in Herrin. Lorene was born on November 15, 1922 in Williamson County to Jeff and Cora (St. Johns) Bradley. She married Fred Eugene Dunaway on August 12, 1941 in Charleston, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on December 4, 1998. Lorene was a housewife and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: Sons: Gary Dunaway and wife Margaret of Marion Tom Dunaway and wife Judy of Christopher Five Grandchildren: Kevin and Shelly Dunaway Lori and Chris Elliot Michael and Teresa Dunaway Brad and Melissa Dunaway Kim Robertson 10 Great Grandchildren: Whitney Robertson Ashley Robertson Brittany Karnes Mariah Minton Chris Dunaway Jack Dunaway Katie Dunaway Jake Dunaway Ally Dunaway Morgan Dunaway Three Great Grandchildren: Kallen Karnes Khilar Karnes Rylee Overmeyer Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Lucille Polak Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11am at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion.  Friends and family are asked to gather at the cemetery.
