Creal Springs Lois Lorene Crites, 89 of Creal Springs, passed away at 1:10 AM on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Memorial services for Mrs. Crites will be on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. A time of gathering for family and friends will precede the memorial service starting at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the family. Lois was born in Newport, Ark. on Thursday, August 30, 1923 to James Roy & Ada Roxie (Sexton) Payne. She married James Cecil Crites on Saturday, November 7, 1959 in Cook County. They shared 42 years together until his death on Wednesday, December 5, 2001. Mrs. Crites is survived by her children, James H. Crites and Jacqueline Foster of Creal Springs and Cecil & Judy Crites of Belleville; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Opal Matthews and brother, Irving Payne. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, James & Ada; husband, James Cecil; children, Larry Crites, Vickie Ann Swartzentrover and Ellen Turner; Sons-in-law, Phillip Swartzentrover and Vilas Turner; three brothers and two sisters..
