Lois Girtman

Marion-Lois Jan Girtman, 80, passed away on Tuesday, February 09, 2016 at Parkway Manor in Marion. Lois was born on May 13, 1935 to Jim and Elsie (White) Simmons.  She married Lee Girtman on August 4, 1956.  He preceded her in death in 1994. Survivors include: Daughter-Diana Luke of Morris, IL Grandson-Matthew Luke of Morris, IL Granddaughter-Michelle (Tony) Xydakis Brother-Garry (Laurie) Simmons of Marion Brother-Billy (Tammy) Simmons of Carterville Sister-Carole (Larry) Jones of Vero Beach, FL Two great grandsons Two great granddaughters Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews Per her wishes, Lois will be cremated.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1pm at Busby Cemetery in Goreville.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements Memorials may be made to Busby Cemetery and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ PO Box 411/ Marion, IL  62959.  For more information or to sign the memorial guest register please visit bluefuneralhome.com
