Lois Dean Fox

Lois Dean Fox, age 78, of Herrin, Illinois, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Shawnee Senior Living Center in Herrin, Illinois.

Lois was born September 28, 1945 in Marion, Illinois, a daughter of Carl Russell and Francis Loudene (Malone) Jackson. She married the love of her life, James Paul "Jim" Fox and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, James Dale Fox and Jonathan Fox; and three siblings, Carl (Diane) Jackson, Linda (Charlie) Smith, and Brenda Donelson.

She is preceded in death by her spouse James Paul "Jim" Fox; two grandchildren, Amanda Fox and Allen Fox; her parents, Carl Russell and Francis Loudene (Malone) Jackson; and her twin sister- Wilma Jean "Cotton" Shadowens.

There will be no public services at this time. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
