Marion-Lisa Uzzle, 53, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Lisa was born on January 16, 1961 in Harvey, IL to Paul Leland and Peggy (Dudek) Leland Lacy. She worked for the post office for 25 years. Lisa was in the NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers) and the Union Steward of the Marion office. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Methodist Church in Marion. Survivors include: Daughter-Stephanie Lynn Uzzle of Woodlawn, TN Son-Matthew Thomas Uzzle of Marion Sister-Laura (Leland) Montague and husband Ken of Chino Hills, CA Aunts: Marci (Dudek) Kriesberg of AL Harriet (Dudek) Beach of MA Melanie (Dudek) Johnson and husband Jerry of Painfield, IL She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Victoria Marie Uzzle; aunts, Elizabeth (Dudek) Kobe and Marilyn (Dudek) Robertson A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 6pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. April Turner officiating. Burial will be at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Friday from 5pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the Special Kids Fund or Wolf Creek Cemetery and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL 62959.
