Lindell D. Mitchell CREAL SPRINGS–Lindell D. Mitchell, 69, of Creal Springs, passed away at 3:30 AM, Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 22, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home, Marion with Reverend John Burnett officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Creal Springs, IL. Lindell was born July 24, 1940 to Walter and Julie (Bozarth) Mitchell. He married Frances Evans in Stonefort on March 8, 1961. Together they shared 48 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Frances Mitchell of Creal Springs; son, Randy and Virginia Mitchell; grandchildren, Kristen Mitchell and Brittany Mitchell; niece Amanda Saylor; great niece and nephew, Nick and Megan; sisters, Louise, Alice, and Beatrice; and brother, Leonard. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; one daughter; and one brother. Mr. Mitchell was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. He retired from Marion Memorial Hospital, after retirement he worked at Wal-Mart for 4 years.
