Linda L. Young Marion- Linda Young, 66, of Marion, passed away at 7:06 AM on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Linda’s wishes were to be cremated and that no services be held. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family. She wanted others to make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in her memory; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. She was born on July 12, 1944 in Marion to Sam & Margaret (Maynard) Lattuca. She married Gary Young on July 25, 1961; they were planning the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Gary; children, Steve & Dawn Young, Michael & Trina Young (all of Marion) and Jeff Young & (fiance’) Sherri of Eldorado; grandchildren, Whitney Young, Gary Young, Michaela Young, Garrett Young, Ashley Young, Mariah Young; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Sam Lattuca and David Lattuca; sisters, Kay Adams and Robin Lattuca. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Doug Lattuca. Linda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She dedicated her life to creating a loving sanctuary for her family and friends. Her absence will be greatly felt by all.
