Carbondale-Linda Sue Wilson (Hawk), formerly of Grand Tower, 68, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Linda was born on December 9, 1948 in Marion to Robert and Beatrice (Vaughn) Sullins. She enjoyed gambling, shopping and traveling. Linda loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: Daughter-Susan O’Neal and fiancé Cory Harrison of Carterville Granddaughter-Gracelynn O’Neal of Carterville Sisters-Mary Ann Planinc and Patricia Aikman, both of Marion Brother-Robert “Woody” Ashby of AR Nephews-John Planinc and Robby Ashby both of Marion Niece-Regina Kay Bloodworth (Clifton) of Marion Great niece-Cierra and Johnny Watson of Marion Great nephew- Derek Bloodworth (Jennifer) of Marion Special Friend-Walter (Wally) Bauer Her beloved dogs, Bandit and BJ (Blackjack) Many other special friends She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell Stillwell; niece, Ginger Shawn Hill; daughter, Kim Ashby; brother, Jimmy Riddle; sister, Lucille Jones and her beloved Pomeranians Midnite and Princess. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 7pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Brad Harlow officiating. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 5pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
