Marion – Linda L Chapman passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2018 at Parkway Manor. Linda was born on April 11, 1932 in Metropolis to Benjamin Jessie and Helen Louise (Davis) Hall. Linda was a longtime member of the 1^st Baptist Church in Marion and Metropolis. She taught sign language for the hearing impaired at the Hearing Impaired School and Sign language at her church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include: Son - James Chapman and wife Susan of SC Daughter - Nancy Chapman of Marion Son - John K. Chapman of SC Grandchildren: Amanda Dalton and husband Brad Amy McKenzie and boyfriend Sam Holley Ashely Davis and husband Grant Rebecca Harris and husband David Jamie Sneed and husband Shane Robin Geary and husband Randy Great grandchildren: Brad, Hailey, Mckenzie, and Madalynn Dalton Emma Davis Rachel and Ryan Becker Liam and Oliver Harris Linda was preceded in death by her brother Harold Hall and her sister Virginia Huss. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Dennis Mohr officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis. Visitation will be on Sunday from 11:30am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
