Lillie Guined
ANNA-Lillie M. Guined, 75, of Anna passed away at 8:24 AM, Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the First Apostolic Church in Marion with Reverend R. G. Walls officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 14, 2006 at the church. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be at Anna City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Apostolic Church Building Fund; envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959.
Mrs. Guined was born on April 29, 1931 in Sylacauga, Alabama to Richard and Minnie (Willis) Winslett. She married R. C. Guined on June 7, 1952 in Columbus, Mississippi; together they shared 54 years of marriage.
Survivors include her husband, R. C.; daughter and son-in-law, Dinah and Bruce Johnson of Hobart, Indiana; sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Doris Guined of Ovett, Mississippi, Steve and Dee Guined of Anna, Dan and Laura Guined of Anna and Roger and Mary of Madisonville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Chad Guined, Duane Johnson, Jeff Guined, Jeremy Johnson, Steve Guined, II, Elisabeth Guined, Joni and Lonnie Lewis, Timmy Johnson, Niki and Justin Barlow, Nathan Guined, Brittany Guined, Carrie Guined and Roger Guined; great grandchildren, Gracie and Emma; brother, Joseph Winslett of Dora, Alabama; and sister, Ann Uptain of Shelbyville, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Hubert and Edward Winslett.
Mrs. Guined was a member of the Marion First Apostolic Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a previous member of the Family Christian Center in Munster, Indiana for over 35 years. She had worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant, but more recently was full time grandmother.
