Lillian Rose Walker GOREVILLE-Lillian Rose Walker, 9, of Goreville passed away at 6:47 PM, Thursday, April 13, 2006 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Pastor Howard Strunk and Dr. Ron Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM, Monday, April 17, 2006 at funeral home. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery, Tunnel Hill. Memorials may be made to the Saint Louis Zoo or the St. Louis Children’s Hospital; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Lillian was born on December 18, 1996 in Carbondale, Illinois to Jerrod and Jenny (Poole) Walker. Survivors include her parents; sister, Cheyenne Walker; maternal grandparents, Gene and Rosie Poole of Goreville; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Mary Jo Walker of Goreville and Lora and J.W. Miller of Sylacauga, Alabama; great grandmothers, Helen Walker of Marion and Mary Schierbaum of Karnak; uncles and aunts, Frankie and Penny Poole of Goreville, Donnie and Rose Poole of Goreville, Robert and Kathy Poole of Simpson and Wes Walker of Goreville. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Paul and Bea Wood. Lillian loved to swim, fish, read, play the piano, work on the computer and make people smile. She loved life and loved spending time with her family, especially on family picnics. She was a member of Bethlehem Church.
