Leonard Lee Norris MARION-Leonard Lee Norris, 77, of Marion passed away at 12:40 PM, Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Blue Funeral home in Marion with Dr. Bob Wagner and Reverend Cory Cartwright officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the funeral home. Military rites will be held at the funeral home by VFW Post 1301 and American Legion Post 147. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Marion. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to the Alzheimer’ s Foundation; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mr. Norris was born on November 29, 1928 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Charles Henry and Pearl (Trackwell) Norris. He married Letitia Kay “Tish” Costin on May 10, 1959 in San Anselmo, California. Survivors include his wife, Tish; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kim Norris of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Shari and Joe LaChiana of Marion; grandchildren, Marshall and Bethany Dunn, Andrew Dunn, Christopher LaChiana and Lindsey Norris; father-in-law, Ralph E. Costin; sister-in-law, Mae Norris; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Norris; and sister, Geraldine Jones. Mr. Norris was a member of Second Baptist Church in Marion. He worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons as an Electrician Foreman for many years. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of the VFW in Oklahoma and the Marion Masonic Lodge 89 AF & AM.
