Lenore Saxon Doyle

Marion-Lenore Saxon Doyle, 74, passed away at 9:38pm on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Herrin Hospital. Lenore was born on February 8, 1939 in Johnston City to Haywood and Jessie (Hopper) Batey. She loved to travel and was very proud of having traveled to all 50 states.  Lenore loved to sew and enjoyed spending time with her dogs. Survivors include: Son-Dan Marinelli and Dawn Loth of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania Brother-Robert Batey and wife Pat of Maryville, Illinois Several nieces and nephews Great niece- Sandy Hilmer and husband Scott Great-great nephews: Jason Hilmer and Clayton Hilmer Great-great niece-Emily Gaylord and husband TJ Great-great-great niece-Violet Gaylord She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Daniel Bill Marinelli; second husband, Clayton Doyle; brother, Thomas W. Batey and nephew Bobbie Batey. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 1pm at Oakwood Cemetery in Carterville with Rev. Ivan Ryan officiating.    Visitation will be on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 12pm-1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.
