Lela Mae Auton MARION-Lela Mae Auton, 59, of Marion passed away at 10:13 PM Monday, April 23, 2007 at Herrin Hospital surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Randy Allison officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice; envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Auton was born September 2, 1947 in Creal Springs, Illinois to Henry and Sylvia (Almaroad) Doron. She married Garry Auton on June 24, 1967 in Marion; together they shared 39 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband Garry of Marion; sons and daughters-in-law, Garry Lee and Laura Auton of Johnston City and Todd Allen and Carla Auton of Royalton; grandchildren, Elizabeth Shadowens and Steven Davie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Larry Bean of Paris, Illinois and Vicky and David Borum of Creal Springs; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Doron; her mother, Sylvia Doron-Danko; and her grandparents. Mrs. Auton was a member of Ralls Grove Christian Church. She retired from driving a bus after 27 years. She was a member of the Marion Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #2457 and the Marion VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
