Lee Arnold Jarman Marion- Lee Arnold Jarman, 85, of Marion passed away at 3:30 AM, Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Friendship Cemetery in Goreville, IL. Services will be conducted by the VFW Ritual Team, with the VFW Post 1301, American Legion 147 and the National Guard officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the VFW Ritual Team in Marion; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Lee was born on November 18, 1925 in Hughes, Arkansas to Fred & Etta (Akins) Jarman. He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Rick & Jaymie Jarman of Hattiesburg, MS; daughter & son-in-law, Kathie Kerr & David Boehms of Kansas City, MO; grandsons, Sam Jarman of Hattiesburg & Adam Kerr of Kansas City; sister, Jessie Lemmon of Oklahoma. Lee was preceded in death by his parents. Lee was a carpenter by trade working in construction in Chicago, IL. He was a decorated Army Veteran serving his country during both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Carpenters Union.
