Lee A. Wisek

Lee A. Wisek, 100, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 5 a.m. at Medina Nursing Home in Durand, Illinois. Lee was born September 6, 1913 in Marion the son of Peter and Louella (Wolverton) Wisek.  He married Ellen Leigh on November 23, 1940 and together they shared 55 years of marriage until her death in November 1995. He retired from 1st National Bank in Chicago in the records department. Survivors include; Best friend and Companion - Marge Mundinger Daughter – Ruth Ann Bush of Holland, Michigan Daughter – Patricia Holterhaus of Glenview, Illinois Son – Dennis Wisek and wife Liz of Huntley, Illinois Nine Grandchildren Thirteen Great Grandchildren Three Great Great Grandchildren Brother – James Wisek Sister – Hilda Smith Preceded by his Parents, Wife – Ellen, Brothers – Herman, Clarence, Arvil and Paul Wisek. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Blue Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Henwood officiating.  Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7 – 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
