Marion-Larry Ray Bloodworth, 68, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital. Larry was born on April 7, 1948 in Carbondale to Luther and Jena Sue (Rasberry) Bloodworth. He married Katie Pulley on August 7, 1992 in Herrin. Larry loved antique cars, watching nascar and drag racing. His pride and joy was his 1937 Ford Coupe “JenaLu” He was a great husband and father and loved being a dad. Survivors include: Wife-Katie Bloodworth Children: Brad Michael Bloodworth and wife Irene Larry Ray Thetford Karon Marie Gulley and husband Jeremy Megan Ann Halliday and husband DeWayne Mark Alan Thetford and fiancé Erika Kelly Granddaughter-Scarlett Bloodworth Sister-Sharon Sue Culbreth Best friends-Robbie, ZuZu and Bijoux Many nieces, nephews and cousins He was preceded in death by his parents A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1pm at Christian Covenant Fellowship in Carterville with Pastor Ralph Brandon officiating.
