Kim A. Hill Marion – Kim A. Hill, 44, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Heartland Regional Medical Center after a several year battle with a severe lung disease. Private graveside services will be held for Kim, with Blue Funeral Home in Marion assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Memorial Donations be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Kim was born March 27, 1966 in Marion to Fred & Elizabeth (Norris) Hill. She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth of Marion; her loving companion of over 20 years, David Garner; children, Chad Hill and Ashley Garner; sisters, Gloria Samples and Vickie & Kenny Dunn; nieces & nephews, Craig & Kim Francis, Misti & Larry Orr, Shane Samples and Dane Dalton; great-nieces & great-nephews, Emily, Corbin, Gabe, Paige and Dylan. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Fred. Kim was formerly employed by Marion Carnegie Library before her illness made it to difficult to work. At the time of Kim’s unexpected death, the decision was made by her family to donate her eyes and tissues so that others could go on to lead more fulfilling lives. This gift of generosity is something that the family knows in their hearts and minds would make Kim extremely happy.
