Marion-Kevin R. Bell, 43, formerly of Marion, passed away at his home in Antioch, Tennessee on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Kevin dedicated his life to our Lord and Savior in February. In his final days, he was surrounded by his parents, sister, partner and aunt, Carol Mitchell of Marion.
Kevin was born on March 16, 1970 in Marion to Charles and Joyce (Sims) Bell.
During Kevin’s working career he was employed by Bell’s Trash Service and Specialty Flower Shop both in Marion, Exclusively Auto in California, Ralph Lauren Outlet Mall in Oregon, TrueValue in Carbondale and as a manager at a thrift and furniture store in Tennessee.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Lana Bell of Marion; partner, Terry Crites of Antioch, Tennessee; maternal grandmother, Rosemary Sims of Marion and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Genevieve Bell and maternal grandfather, John H. Sims.
He loved spending time outside with fish ponds, flowers and animals, especially his dogs; Rosie and Boneski. Kevin also enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions.
Visitation will be at Blue Funeral Home in Marion on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 10:00am until 12:00pm with a memorial service following. Rev. Bob Shook of Carterville and Dr. Bob Sanders of Chattanooga, Tennessee will be officiating the service. Lana Bell will give the eulogy. Burial will be at Fountain United Methodist Church Cemetery. A meal will follow at the church.
