Kenneth Miller MARION-Kenneth Miller, 66, of Marion passed away at 10:31 PM, Monday, January 18, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Darrell Wimberly officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening with Marion Masonic Lodge 89 AF & AM presiding. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Masonic Lodge 89 AF & AM; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Kenneth was born December 9, 1943 in Elco, Illinois to Herman and Reba (West) Miller. He married Peggy Neber. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Miller; daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Rodney Sipperley, Sherry and James Franks and Stephanie Modglin; sons and daughers-in-law, Allen and Sherry Rix and Tom and Kathy Rix; grandchildren, Joe, Brandon, Ryan, Anthony, Aadam, Aaron, Nathan, Roselean, Shelby and Austin; great grandchildren, Ayanna and Xavier; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Mary Jane Miller; and step-father, Jesse White. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Deon Miller. Kenneth was a member of East Liberty Christian Church. He previously worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 318 and a member and past Worshipful Master of the Marion Masonic Lodge 89 AF & AM. He enjoyed fishing and he loved his kids and grandkids.
