Kendall Webb MARION–Kendall Webb, 86, of Marion formerly of Harrisburg passed away at 11:40 AM, Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend David Schlag officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 6:30 PM, Thursday evening by Masonic Lodge 89 AF & AM. Burial will be at New Burnside Cemetery. Military rites will be held at the cemetery by VFW Post 1301, American Legion Post 147 and the National Guard. Memorials may be made to FOP Lodge 197 “Shop with a Cop”; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mr. Webb was born on May 1, 1922 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Walter and Jewell (Rann) Webb. He married Lois Peterson on July 20, 1956 in Corinth, Mississippi; together they shared almost 52 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Lois of Marion; daughter, Sandra Kay Reeder of Harrisburg; son and daughter-in-law, James and Jill Webb of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Randy Pritchard of Marion; grandchildren, Dee Dee and David Angelly and Luke and Libby Pritchard; great grandson, Mitchell Angelly; and sister-in-law, Delores Webb. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sons, Kendall and Wendell Webb; granddaughter, Krystal Pritchard; brother, Robert Marion Webb; and sister, Wanda Doolin. Mr. Webb was a member of Parrish Park Baptist Church in Marion. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years. He was a 60 year, life member of the Harrisburg Masonic Lodge 325 AF & AM, member of the Teamsters local 347, retired. He proudly served his country with the United States Army Aircorp during World War II, and was discharge in 1944. He was a train collector, enjoyed farming and loved to camp. He enjoyed spending time with his family and he will be missed by all.
