Dexter, MO-Kendall Melvin Miller, 91, formerly of Marion, passed away at 9:39am on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the VA Medical Center.
Kendall was born on December 10, 1924 in Dexter to Stephen Edgar and Ruth Maugerite Williams Miller. He married Lorene Fisher on September 14, 1946 in Dexter. She preceded him in death in 2015.
Kendall served in the US Navy during WWII. He sang in gospel group quartets and also was a square dance caller. Kendall retired from Ford Motor Company as an electrician. He painted flag poles and was also a steeple jack.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 2:30 at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, MO with Rev. Buddy Heaton officiating. Visitation will be from 12pm until the time of service at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Monday. A visitation will also be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5pm-8pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.
