Keith A. “Donut” Aschieris CARTERVILLE- 8220;Keith A. “Donut” Aschieris, 52, of Carterville passed away at 4:31 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Memorial services will be at 5:00 PM, Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Russell Warner officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of the service on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Keith was born on June 20, 1955 in Benton, Illinois to Andrew and Shirley (Maurer) Aschieris. Survivors include his mother, Shirley of Carterville; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Steve Garner of Carterville; brother, Steve Aschieris of Marion; nephews, John and Kyle Garner; and several cousins. He was preceded by his father. Keith owned and operated Andy's Pastry Shop in Carterville and was a part-time land surveyor. He graduated from Carterville High School in 1973. He loved fishing, music, sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the loving people at “Davita Dialysis” for the special care they gave to their loved one, Keith.
