Kaylynn Bonney MARION- Kaylynn Bonney, 10, of Marion, passed away at 9:05 PM, Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 29, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Cynthia Freeland officiating. Visitation was held from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 29, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Kaylynn was born on January 7, 1996 in Carbondale, Illinois to Shane Michael and Shelly (Smothers) Bonney. Survivors include her father, Shane of Marion; maternal grandparents, Jack and Pam Smothers of Marion; paternal grandparents, Charles Bonney and Stephanie and Don Hill all of Godfrey; great grandmother, Rosetta Smothers of Marion; great grandparents, Bill and Sue Dungey of Marion; great great grandmother, Manda Turner of Marion; uncle, Matt Bonney; uncle and aunt, Chris and Donna Bonney; uncle, Craig Hill; aunt and uncle, Melissa and Charlie Burnett; aunt, Sarah Hill; uncle and aunt, Clint and Jessica Smothers; aunt, Shara Peyton; aunt, Lisa Wilson; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shelly; grandmother, Cindy Smothers; and great grandfather, Jack Smothers. Kaylynn was a 4th grader at Jefferson School. She loved going to church and she loved the Lord. She enjoyed playing softball and the piano. She loved her family and her family loved her, very much.
