Kaylee Ann Adams

Kaylee Ann Adams, the cherished daughter of Cheyanne Adams and Randy Schalk Jr., was born sleeping on December 15, 2024, in Carbondale, Illinois. Though her time with us was brief, Kaylee left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and loved ones. 

Kaylee is deeply loved by her parents; siblings, Michael, Kayden, and Skylar Adams; her maternal family -grandmother Theresa Adams, grandfather Christopher Wieseman, great-grandparents Danny and Brenda Wieseman, aunts Krysti (Austin) Sellars, Cindy Lindhorst, Juanita Edgell, Leoma (Vernon) Herrington, Paula Cain, Susie (Bill) Austin; uncles Cody Wieseman, Stanley (Jeanette) Cain, William (Chrissy) Adams, Douglas (Karla) Adams; her paternal family, grandfather Randy Schalk Sr., grandmother Brenda (Tyrone) Amerson, aunt Randi Sue (Jeffery) Cox, uncles Dinnis Schalk, Danny (Donna) Schalk, Jason (Cora) Schalk, aunts Amber (Andy) Ronk, Autumn James, uncle Justin Pinkston, and many cousins and extended family members. 

Kaylee is preceded in death by her sister Nichole Grace Adams, and grandparents, Delores and William Adams, uncles Leroy Cain, Eugene (Paulett) Cain, James Whirley, Russell (Joyce) Cain; grandmothers Rebecca Crump, and Jerry Schalk.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross.  

Graveside services will be officiated by Pastor Keith Owens and held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin, Illinois. Friends and family are invited to gather at the graveside shortly before the service. 

Though Kaylee’s time on earth was fleeting, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who love her. The family invites those who wish to honor Kaylee to join them in saying goodbye and celebrating her short but precious life.
