Kathy R. McFadden MARION-Kathy R. McFadden, 54, of Marion passed away at 7:59 PM, Monday, February 15, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Derek Shaw officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Memorials may be made to New Hope Church of God; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Kathy was born on May 26, 1955 in Marion to Bill and Rose (Hartline) Hightower. Survivors include her husband, Richard McFadden of Marion; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Brandy Hunt of Dallas, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Todd Cameron of Jacksonville, Florida; step-daughters and husbands, Brooke and Lonnie Holderfield of Marion and Amber and Jason Tieffel of Benton; grandchildren, Hailey Hunt, Gavin Hunt, Katelyn Cameron, Peyton, Tieffel and Mason Tieffel; and her mother, Rose Hightower. She was preceded in death by her father. Kathy currently worked for the Illinois Department of Public Health for the past 32 years. She was an active member of New Hope Church of God, where she was also a member of the choir. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, “Sadie”.
