Kathy O’Steen GOREVILLE-Kathy O’Steen, 73, of Goreville passed away at 12:28 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Dr. Ron Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery in Goreville. Kathy was born on October 23, 1936 in Decatur to Donald and Katherine (Gardner) Dillman. She married Leroy O’Steen on April 16, 1957 in Las Vegas, Nevada; together they shared 53 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, Leroy O’Steen of Goreville; her children, Leah Ann O’Steen of Goreville, Susan K. and Thomas Amaud of Phoenix, Arizona, Brian P. O’Steen of Goreville, Karen S. O’Steen of Goreville, Leroy O’Steen, Jr. and Toby Jones of Decatur and Mary E. O’Steen and Mike Vest of Goreville; sixteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Denise Dillman of Mt. Zion, Georgia, David and Shirley Dillman and Jack and Judi Dillman all of Decatur; and sister-in-law, Mary Dillman of Woodlawn. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Walt Dillman. Kathy was a member Eagle Point Bay Ladies Group, quilters group and was a past board member. She loved to quilt, cook and spend time with her grandchildren.
