Kathy (Ice) Tripp

Marion Kathy (Ice) Tripp, 53, of Marion passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Noon at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery-Poordu. A time of gathering for family and friends will precede the funeral service starting at 10:00 AM and lasting until the service hour on Thursday. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Kathy was born on Monday, March 30, 1959 in Marion to Gene & Lydia (Murphy) Ice. She is survived by her mother, Lydia Jewell (Murphy) Hudgens of Marion; son, Benjamin Tripp of Pittsburg; grandchildren, McKennah Bowen & Brendon Tripp and brother, Keith Ice. She was preceded in death by her father.
