Kathryn Atnip Maze-Motsinger MARION–Kathryn Atnip Maze-Motsinger, 74, of Marion passed away at 1:35 AM, Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend R. G. Null officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, February 9, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery in Goreville. Memorials may be made to Friendship Cemetery; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Kathryn was born August 13, 1934 in “Peanut Ridge” Williamson County, Illinois to Robert and Ruby (Gray) Atnip. She married Everett Lee Maze, who preceded her in death on September 8, 1978; she later married Tom Motsinger, who preceded her in death on June 9, 2006. Survivors include her children, Roger and Lupe Maze, Tony and Tracy Maze and Paula and Floyd Schuetz; grandchildren, Alleisha and Roger Bastien, Raymond and Mandy Schuetz, Leah and Geoffrey Partlow, Kelly and Jorge Galindo, Laura and Shane Tomlin, Lacey Maze, Justin Maze, Moses Maze, and Aaron Maze; great grandchildren, Everett Bastien, Hannah Bastien, Floyd Bastien, Michaela Schuetz, Katie Schuetz, Ty Schuetz, Emma Partlow, Alex Partlow, Aden Partlow and Matthew Tomlin; step-children, Andrew Thomas and Toni Motsinger, John and Teresa Motsinger, Matthew Motsinger and April Motsinger; several step grandchildren; and sister, Janet and Walter Paintner. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands. Kathryn was formerly a beautician and a homemaker. Her biggest hobby was going to yard sales.
