Kathern Gulley

Marion-Kathern Bernice Gulley, 80, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Parkway Manor. Kathern was born on March 12, 1936 in Williamson County to Orville and Mary (Hanks) Hill. She married James Gulley on August 22, 1953. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2016. Kathern was a member of Second Baptist Church and Eastern Star Leroy Chapter 350. She was the head cook at Jefferson School for many years. Kathern was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include: Son-James Alan Gulley of Dexter, MO Daughter-Tammy Jo Wolf and husband Jim of Marion Grandchildren: Katie and Jared Roberts Jamie and Sean Mausey Abigail Wolf Matthew Wolf Great granddaughter-Lily Mausey Many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Gene Hill and sister, Roberta Simmons Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
