Marion-Kalyn “Sissy” Michelle Gelgut, 20, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis. Kalyn was born on August 11, 1995 in Marion to John and Melanie (Fisher) Gelgut. She loved to listen to gospel music, enjoyed watching tv and spending time with her family.. Kalyn will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include: Mother-Melanie Fisher-Gelgut of Marion Father-John Gelgut and wife Lori of Energy Brother-John Mark Gelgut of Marion Maternal grandparents-Melvin and Mary E. Fisher of Marion Uncles and aunts-Mike and Shirley Fisher of Marion and Mark and Sheila Fisher of Marion Cousins: Ryan Fisher Sara Morrison and husband Dustin Michael Fisher and wife Christina Stephanie Duckworth and husband Matt Kaci Norris and husband Ethan Many great cousins who loved her She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kaessy G. and Lillie B. Gelgut;  maternal great grandparents, John E. and Dorothy Crawford and paternal great grandparents, Rev. Earl E. and Eathel Fisher. The family would like to give special thanks her nurses Nichole Pritchett-Minton, Shannon Rogers and Kelly Wendler and all the staff at Cardinal Glennon, especially Dr. Robert Ream. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:30pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Mark Fisher and Brother Ed Falgout officiating.  Burial will follow at Rhine Cemetery in Galatia.  Visitation will also be on Saturday from 1pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
