Junetta K. Simmons JOHNSTON CITY – Junetta K. Simmons, 55, passed away at 12:55 PM, Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at her home in Johnston City. Memorial services will be at 3:30 PM, Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Kenneth Edwards officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Missouri. Junetta was born February 11, 1955 in Dexter, Missouri to Clyde and Henrietta (Johnson) Phillips. Survivors include son, Benji and Tobie Cain of Carterville; daughter, Sarah Megan and Jeremy Cain-Allen of Brighton, Tennessee; grandchildren, Devon and Hannah Cain; and sisters, Joyce Leathers of Dexter, MO, Carolyn and Troy Ionana of Wheaton, IL and Deanna Deering of Stonefort, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Lynn Cain; three brothers; and one sister. She worked as a manager in the food and beverage Industry. Her hobbies included shopping and calligraphy. Junetta had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dog, Maggie. She loved her family and friends.
