Jula "Judy" Kent

MARION - Jula "Judy" Kent, 78, of Joliet, passed away May 10, 2013, in Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born Dec. 25, 1934, in Marion to Claude and Della Barwick. Survivors include daughter, Paula and Frank Medlin; son, Steve and Jill Kent; grandchildren, Brittany Medlin, Carlos Wilda, Amber and Kevin Chester, Kenneth Wilda, Emily Anderson, Cody Love, Jessica Love Bratton and Sara and Jamie Love; many great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew and Millie Barwick; and sister, Juanita and Donald Bloodworth. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William E. "Bill" Kent; daughter, Elaine Gayle Love; and grandsons, William F. and Samuel A. Medlin. Services will be at noon Thursday, May 16, in McKinney Chapel Church in Marion. Burial will be in McKinney Chapel Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the church.
