Judy Crees

Marion-Judith Ann Crees, 77, passed away on August 1, 2019 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Judy was born in Hammond, Indiana to A.B. and Nathalie Williams on February 26, 1942.

Judy lived a quiet life and loved spending time with her family, as they were her greatest treasures.  She made friends everywhere she went and people seemed to be drawn to her beautiful smile and sweet spirit.  Judy was a faithful Christian prayer warrior and enjoyed activities organized by her church.

She is survived by:

Daughter in law-Cherlyn Crees of Indiana

Brother-Bailey Williams of Louisiana

Sister-Melanie (Jesse) James of Marion

Miles (Hannah) James of St. Louis

Max James of Marion

Austin Williams of Louisiana

B.G. Williams of Louisiana

Great Nieces-Kristine, Katie and Chole Williams of Louisiana

Great Nephew-Blaze Williams of Louisiana

She was preceded in death by her father, A.B. Williams and son, Don Austin Crees

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated.  Family graveside services will be held at a later date.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or The Lighthouse Shelter and will be accepted at the funeral home.
