Juanita Cooper GOREVILLE-Juanita Cooper, 83, of Goreville formerly of Steger, Illinois passed away at 10:45 AM, Friday, April 24, 2009, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 27, 2009 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Reverend Ken Hall officiating. Visitation will from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. Mrs. Cooper was born October 5, 1925 in Sesser, Illinois to Robert and Myrtle (Hart) Harland. She shared 51 years of marriage with her husband Robert Cooper he survives of Goreville. Survivors include husband, Robert; son and daughter-in-law, Mike & Susan Rossi of Goreville; daughter, Jean Doss of California; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Mele’ Cooper of Park Forest, Illinois; six, grandchildren; eleven, great-grandchildren; seven, great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lorraine Phillips; and grandson, Randy Rossi. Mrs. Cooper loved, flower gardening, working puzzles, crocheting, and talking to her friends in Deer Ridge subdivision. She will be missed by all who knew her.
