Joyce Quertermous

Creal Springs-Joyce Elaine Quertermous, 59, passed away at 2:15pm on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Joyce was born on December 24, 1953 to Logan and Dorothy (Bratton) Troxel in Marion.  She married Norman Quertermous on December 19, 1969 in Elizabethtown. He survives of Creal Springs. Joyce was a member of Center Baptist Church.  She loved spoiling her grandkids. Survivors include: Husband-Norman Quertermous of Creal Springs Children: Shane Quertermous and wife Michelle of Creal Springs Shawn David Quertermous and wife Cheryl Ann of Creal Springs Grandchildren: Dakotah, Haylee, Hunter, Seth and Breea Brothers: Ronnie Troxel and wife Peggy of Creal Springs Larry Troxel and wife Billie Jean of Marion Justin Powell and wife Wanda of Creal Springs Brother in law-Tom Quertermous and wife Victoria of Palo Alto, CA Sister-in-law Elena Quertermous of San Jose, CA Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Cheryl and Brenda “Sissy” and brother, Stan Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. Chris Cutsinger officiating.  Burial will follow at Creal Springs City Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
