Joanne Hodge MARION-Joanne Hodge, 65, of Marion passed away at 11:45 AM, Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. John Simpson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Marion. Ms. Hodge was born on March 30, 1941 in Marion, Illinois to Leon and Ella (Howard) Hodge. Survivors include her mother, Ella Brewer of Marion; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Robert Metcalf of Mt. Vernon; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Dionne Hodge of El Paso, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Steve Hodge; and step-father, Walter Brewer. Ms. Hodge was a member of Warder Street Baptist Church in Marion. She was employed by the Department of Human Services in West Frankfort. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
