Marion- Jimmy E. Shadden, 61, passed away November 11, 2011 at 7:40 am at his home in Marion. A memorial service will be held at the 3rd Baptist Church in Marion on Tuesday, November 15th at 11 am. There will be a time of visitation at the church from 10am until the service hour. Rev. Scott Kallem will officiate. Military rites will be conducted at the church. Blue Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family, and will be received at the church or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home PO Box 411 Marion IL 62959. Mr. Shadden was born on December 14, 1949, the son of Ira and Mildred (Tracy) Shadden. He married his wife Teresa Ellis on January 17, 2007 in Marion. Mr. Shadden served in the US Army. He loved playing golf and watching gold mining shows. He was of the Christian faith, attending the 3rd Baptist Church in Marion. Mr. Shadden is survived by: Wife Teresa Shadden of Marion Mother Mildred Shadden of Rockford Children: Nikki Shadden of Rockford, Amy Shadden of Rockford, David and Trina Hendricks of Oregon, Michael Hendricks of Oregon, Cassie Helms and Ivy Hurst of Marion Mother and father-in-law: Norma and Larry Sharp of Marion IL Grandchildren: Kaily Coon, Jonathon Hendricks, Becca Tomas and Ivan Hurst. Brother: Joel and Sheri Shadden of Rockford Sisters: Judy Shadden and Julie Smith of Rockford He was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers; Ian “Jr.” Shadden and Jerry Shadden.
