Pittsburg-Lydia Jewell Hudgens, 80, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014 at her home.
Jewell was born on December 10, 1933 in Marion to Benjimen and Lydia (Grimes) Murphy. She married Bob Hudgens; he preceded her in death on November 23, 2010.
Jewell was the owner of the Pizza Palace and a member of Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Kathy Tripp; brothers, Lee Murphy, Raymond Murphy and Melvin Murphy.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 12pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Mark Mohler officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
