Jewell Hayes CREAL SPRINGS-Jewell E. Hayes, 80, of Creal Springs went to be with the Lord at 7:45PM, Saturday, February 26, 2006 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Bob Chrisco and Reverend Tim Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, February 27, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Drake Cemetery in Creal Springs. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and to the Assembly of God Church in Creal Springs;; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent co; Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, Illinois 62959. Mrs. Hayes was born on February 19, 1926 in New Burnside, Illinois to Orbie and Gertrude (Davis) Upchurch. She married Orville Hayes on August 28, 1943 in St. Charles, Missouri. Survivors include her husband; children, Kathy and Alex Goldstein, Linda and Edward Miller, Richard and Nancy Hayes, Peggy and Buddy Motsinger; grandchildren, Keith Milburn, Michelle (Milburn) Gent, Brandy (Linck) Carnaghi, Aaron Hayes, Melissa (Hayes) Wunsh, Tara (Hayes) Larson, Kara (Hayes)Lawrence, Bryan, Dustin and Kaelynne Motsinger; great grandchildren, Megan Milburn, Bailey White, Benjamin Hayes, Gabrielle Milburn; sisters, Pauline Travelstead, Eva Felts Powell; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents; son, Terry Lee Hayes; grandsons, Michael Scott Linck and Allen Todd Milburn; brothers, David, John and Ralph Upchurch. Mrs. Hayes was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Creal Springs for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
