Goreville-Jessie Wade Hancock, 48, passed away at 7:50am on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home.
Jessie was born on February 27, 1968 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Ronald and Shirley (Newton) Hancock.
He was a tower communication technician for various contractors throughout the US. Jessie loved to travel and enjoyed boating, fishing and playing pranks on friends and family and he was very witty. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Grandson-Brayden Hancock of Elco
Brother and sister in law-Ronald Jacob and Amber Hancock of Goreville
Several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother, Grady Hancock
Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 3pm at the First Pentecostal Church/ 915 N. Broadway in Goreville with Rev. R.G. Null officiating. Inurnment will follow at Cana Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Friday from 1pm until the time of service at the church.
Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family with arrangements.
