Jessie (Kirby) Fisher Marion-Jessie (Kirby) Fisher, 86, of Marion passed away at 10:16 PM, Friday, January 12, 2007 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday January 15, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Don Bethel officiating. Visitation will from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM Monday January 15, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Fisher was born on March 6, 1920 in Goreville, Illinois to Orie and Cecil (Tolar) Kirby. She married Russell Dean Fisher on July 5, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2006. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and Richard Thompson and Beverly and Alan Dean all of Marion; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Ellen Fisher of Pittsburg; grandchildren, Michael Baker, Brent Baker, Lisa McGovern, David and Brooke Dean Allen Fisher, Glen Fisher, Sarah Palmer and Rachael Palmer; great-grandchildren, Jessica Baker, Douglas McGovern, Lynsey McGovern, Ashleigh Wilson, Lani Dean, Kami Dean and Kelly Fisher; son-in-law ,Richard Palmer,; brother-in-law, Gene Snider; niece, Jane Ann and Russell Keene, special cousin Jimmy and Betty Bennette, Delores and Jack Potter, Brenda and Bruce Brotcher, many Kirby Cousins from Goreville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Bonnie Palmer, sister Janie Holmes, nephew Billy Dunning. Mrs. Fisher was a Homemaker, and a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marion.
