Jessica Marie Patterson Goreville-Jessica Marie Patterson, 21, of Goreville passed away at 1:04 PM, Monday, November 8, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the First Apostolic Church in Marion with Reverend R. G. Walls officiating. Burial will be at McKinney Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the church. Jessica was born in Herrin, IL, to William Mark & Kelley (Colp) Patterson on October 29, 1989. She graduated from Goreville High School in 2008 where she served as her Class President all four years. Jessica graduated with high honors from Shawnee Community College and was currently enrolled at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale as an Art Education Major. She previously worked at the Goreville Food Market and was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Marion. Survivors include her parents; sister, Kara Patterson & her fiancée Jonathan Bevis, sister, Markella Patterson; boyfriend, Chad Maze; maternal grandparents, Bill and Glenda Colp of Herrin; maternal great-grandparent, Lou Colp of Herrin; paternal grandparents, William J. & Verna Mae Patterson of Goreville; several aunts and uncles, Scott & Tammy Patterson, Monica & Roger Carroll and Krista & Duffe Elkins; cousins, Kyle & Garrett Patterson, Nathan Carroll, Madeline Elkins, Mason Elkins and Marlee Elkins.
